Deep cleaning

We hand-wash. Deep cleaning in Madison, done in a fixed order.

Woodwork, door frames, window sills, baseboards and cabinet fronts washed by hand, with a walkthrough before and after so nothing is left to guess.

Chapter 01

What dusting misses

We hand-wash. That is the difference you notice first. Woodwork, door frames, window sills, baseboards, cabinet fronts and the backsplash are wiped by hand, not dusted and skipped. Grease settles on cabinet fronts, and a dry cloth moves it around instead of lifting it.

In the kitchen that means countertops and everything on them, cabinet fronts and backsplash washed by hand, the microwave inside and out, appliance exteriors and stainless steel, sanitized sinks and the floors. In the bathroom it is the toilet area, the tub and shower including mildew removal, hand-washed cabinet fronts and the mirrors.

Andrew Ellis hired Patricia and Ana for his lake home and wrote, "It was like we were in a new house again."

The order: fans and vents first, floors last

The job starts with a walkthrough with you, so the team knows what matters in your house before anything is touched. Ceiling fans and vents come first, because whatever they shake loose lands on surfaces that have not been cleaned yet.

Surfaces and furniture come next. Beds are made and cushions vacuumed, cobwebs come down, A/C vents and blinds are cleaned, wall art and knickknacks are feather-dusted, and window sills, baseboards, doors and door frames are washed by hand. Floors are last, so nothing walks across them afterward.

Before the team leaves there is a final walkthrough with you. If something is wrong, it is addressed before the job closes, not on a callback list. Call within 24 hours of any visit and the team re-cleans whatever was missed, no questions asked.

Chapter 03

When a deep clean earns its time

Some homes need a reset rather than a routine. Deb Flanders booked Ana and Patricia for a friend who was having surgery, in an apartment that had not been deep cleaned in years, and wrote that they were thorough, friendly, efficient and professional throughout. Christine Hurth wrote that the team requested additional time as needed and was clear about any additional cost.

That is how a deep clean is scoped: a free estimate first, then the time the house really needs, with the price conversation before the work and not after it.

A deep clean is also where every recurring plan begins, in the first visit. If you like what you see, the same team can keep the house there with a weekly, biweekly or monthly visit.

Deep cleans are a regular line in the 4.9 from 350 Google reviews.

Most clients book a deep clean around a date: guests arriving, boxes coming in or going out, a contractor leaving. If you want the house kept up afterward, see recurring house cleaning. If you are leaving a place for good, look at move-in and move-out cleaning.
