Odana Road, Madison
Founded by Ava Palek, cleaned by the same team every visit.
Touch of Europe is a family owned and operated business. Not only is it a local cleaning company, all of its employees are local to the area as well. This is where the company came from, who runs the office, and what the people in your home actually do.
From a university in Poland
A single mother, two children, and a house to clean.
“Her meticulous attention to detail and unique cleaning system quickly gained recognition.”
Ava worked at a university in Poland before making the life-changing decision to move to the United States in pursuit of a better future for her family. As a single mother raising two children, she turned to house cleaning as a way to support them. Homes she cleaned were left sparkling, and her clients noticed.
Inspired by her own path, Ava made it her mission to support other women facing similar challenges. Today the company employs many single mothers, giving them steady work and a chance to build better lives for their families. It also partners with Cleaning for a Reason, the nonprofit that arranges free cleanings for women battling cancer.
Her background in Human Resources turned into the company's most important asset: its employees. Each new cleaner completes 100 hours of training with a one-on-one coach and passes an assessment before going into the field, then attends monthly continuing-education meetings.
Long-term hires, all of them local
The company calls its staff “our family.”
Top-notch employees come into the company on a long-term basis, which is why a client can rest easy that the same people are coming into the house. If a cleaning ever has an issue, the team promptly corrects it: 100% committed to your 100% satisfaction.
