Carpet and upholstery
Carpet and upholstery cleaned by hot water extraction
Biodegradable detergents, then a hot-water rinse that pulls the dirt out. For traffic lanes, pet odor, stains, and the sofa everyone actually sits on.
Chapter 01
Traffic lanes and pet odor
Carpet wears in lanes: the path from the door to the kitchen, the hallway, the spot in front of the couch. Vacuuming lifts what sits on top, and the grime that works down into the pile is what makes a lane look darker than the rest of the room.
Pet odor and stains are treated as their own job, not an afterthought. If a pet has been at one corner of a room, tell the office when you call, and the team plans the visit around it.

Pre-treat first, then hot water extraction
The team starts with biodegradable detergents, then follows with a hot-water rinse, the method called hot water extraction. The detergent loosens the soil and the hot water carries it out of the carpet instead of leaving it behind.
The same method works on upholstery: sofas, sectionals, dining chairs, loveseats and recliners. The process is low-moisture, which is why the furniture is not left wet for a day.
Chapter 03
Dry time, and when to book again
Plan for a 2 to 6 hour dry time, depending on the carpet and the room. That is short enough to book a morning visit and have the room back by evening.
A good rhythm is every 6 to 12 months. Homes with pets, kids or heavy foot traffic sit toward the 6-month end, and a quiet guest room can wait longer. Your regular cleaning keeps the surface tidy between visits.
