Hiring cleaners on Odana Road
Come clean with a team that keeps its people.
Touch of Europe brings cleaners in on a long-term basis. The company calls it “our family,” and its low turnover is the reason clients see the same faces week after week. Ava Palek started the business as a single mother cleaning homes herself, and today it employs many single mothers, and every employee is local to the area.
Recognised as Best of Madison in 2024 and 2025, the company grows by keeping the people it trains. If that sounds like a place you would stay, ask the office about openings.

What the job gives you
Trained first, then trusted with a key.
- 100 hours of training
- Every cleaner works through 100 hours of training with a one-on-one coach, then sits an assessment before going into the field.
- Teams of two
- You clean beside a partner, not alone, and the same pair returns to the same homes, which is why clients know you by first name.
- Local, never subcontracted
- Every employee lives in the area and works for Touch of Europe directly. The company has never handed its work to a contractor.
- Monthly continuing education
- The team meets every month to keep learning, long after the first 100 hours are done.
Staff are background-checked, bonded and insured, with workers' compensation on every employee. You can read how clients experience the team on the reviews page, and see the company's charity partnership through Cleaning for a Reason. Questions about how visits run are answered in the FAQ.
